At YellowYellow, we don’t just talk about sustainability we walk it, literally.
Throughout the month of June, our team took part in our #Step-Up Challenge, a friendly competition to see who could reach 8,000 steps a day. Armed with a simple app and a whole lot of motivation, we laced up our sneakers and hit the pavement, parks, and trails.

Moments That Moved Us
As the days went on, what started as a simple challenge turned into something more meaningful. Midday walks became a chance to unplug. Team chats turned into walking meetings. And shared step counts sparked friendly banter and encouragement across geographies. We saw parts of our neighborhoods we hadn’t noticed before, took the long way home just for the view, and rediscovered how energizing it is to be outside together.
By the end of June, our seven-person team had collectively logged over 1.5 million steps with the winner racking up 330,000+ steps.

Walking with Purpose
As a sustainability firm, we live for moments like these. The #Step-Up Challenge reminded us why we do what we do: to reconnect with nature, take care of our well-being, and build a future that’s a little greener and a little more human. In the end, yes, one person won. But we all walked away with something more meaningful: deeper connections, healthier habits, and a renewed love for the outdoors. Here’s to moving with purpose together.
